Port scan importer can import, historize and process monitoring data from Port scans.


You can find the configuration option in at Environment settings > OneImporter > Configurations > Port scan.

Here you can edit all existing configurations, create new configurations or delete existing configurations. Each configuration can import multiple IP- and port ranges into a single specified entity. To add a new configuration enter a Name and click Add to proceed to the configuration. To edit an existing configuration click the arrow on the left of your importer name to expand the configuration options.

The following configuration options are available:

Field Description Advice
Name Meaningful name Should include "Port Scan"
Active Option to activate and deactivate the configuration. Data is only imported if the configuration is activated.
IP ranges Enter one IP and the range of IPs that surround it
Domain, hostname or IP Enter either domain, hostname or IP address from which you would like to scan ports
Port ranges Specify the range of imported ports:
from (left field) to (right field)
Single ranges Specify single imported ports
Entity name Name of the entity that instances are assigned to (default: port-scan) Determine standards about entity names before your first import
Import also if all ports are closed Option to activate and deactivate the imports when all ports are closed
Executing OneImporter Select a OneImporter to import the data based on the importer configuration. Requires installed OneImporter: Installation instruction
Schedule time (cron format) Determine the frequency of imports in CRON format Learn more about CRON format:

The OneImporter imports port scan based on your specific configuration and stores the different instances in the entity defined by you (default: port-scan). To view the imported instances in, you can select 'Asset & Configuration Repository → Instance Viewer'. There you can select your specific instance and click it for a detailed view in the instance history viewer.
