User profile settings
General
User-specific configurations can be customised in the user's general settings:
- First and last name of the user: Displayed in the Versio.io user interface and in emails.
- Avatar: URL link to a photo available on the Internet, which is displayed in the top right user menu in the Versio.io user interface.
- Default environment: If no environment is specified when the Versio.io URL is called up (
https://live.versio.io?environment=<my-environment-id>
), you can define an environment which is opened by default. - User GUI mode: The modes
Standard
andExpert
are available. In Standard mode, fewer configuration options are displayed to make it easier for new and inexperienced Versio.io users. - Notification preference: Define yourself for which Versio.io-specific information you want to receive an e-mail.
User password
In the password section you can change the password of the current username. Note that the user password is used for all environments of the Versio.io server instance!
The following rules must be followed when changing the password:
- Password length must be at least 12 characters.
- At least one capital letter.
- At least one lowercase letter.
- At least one number.
- At least one special character.
Two-factor authentication
Users can set up or deactivate two-factor authentication for their access with the mobile phone apps commonly available on the market.
Training certificates
If you take part in an official Versio.io training course, you will receive a training certificate. All your training certificates are displayed in your user profile. The certificate is available in various formats and can be shared directly on LinkedIn.
